Experience the National Day Parade as it returns to the National Stadium
After a decade away, the National Day Parade is finally coming home to the National Stadium, with a production that promises to be one of the biggest yet.
Highlights include:
- 🚁 NDP’s first-ever indoor drone light show, said to be twice as big as past displays
- ✨ The largest indoor special effects presentation in parade history
- 🎭 A football field-length performance stage complete with aerial elements, stage lifts and multimedia projections
- 🎉 The largest civilian participation segment in over a decade, with more than 2,000 performers from schools, community groups and organisations across Singapore
- 🎙️An entertainment lineup featuring Najip Ali, Ric Liu, Sushma Soma, Jasmine Sokko, Iman Fandi and Gareth Fernandez

This year, National Day storytelling extends beyond the Parade, with Heartbeats, an NDP 2026 micro-drama series, and Go Beyond: NDP 2026 Album.
Featuring Iman Fandi and Yung Raja in lead roles, Heartbeats is NDP’s first-ever original six-part micro-drama. The series follows the story of a young woman as she navigates self-doubt, family expectations, and personal growth, before finding her place at an NDP heartland celebration.

Also, for the first time, Singaporeans can immerse themselves in the music of this year’s celebrations with the Go Beyond: NDP 2026 Album.
Featuring a lineup of original songs by homegrown artists, the album captures the spirit of this year’s theme through stories of resilience, hope, and belonging.
Three original tracks, now available on the NDPeeps YouTube and Spotify channels, lead the release:
- “Giants”, written by weish and performed by Iman Fandi

Turn Singapore into your playground with the Majulah Hunt
What if National Day became one giant island-wide treasure hunt?
That’s the idea behind Majulah Hunt, organised by the NDP 2026 Executive Committee together with Accenture and Google.
Over eight weeks starting mid-June, Singapore will transform into an interactive digital adventure featuring 61 Discoveries (specific landmarks) scattered across the island.
From familiar neighbourhoods to iconic landmarks, each stop reveals little-known stories about Singapore’s history, communities, and people, inviting participants to see everyday places through fresh eyes.
Along the way, you’ll also unlock exclusive collectibles, including limited-edition August plushies and stickers, while racing to uncover the Hunt’s final secret destination.
Whether you’re exploring with family, friends or flying solo, the Majulah Hunt is a fun excuse to rediscover home.

Find the perfect spot to catch the fireworks
For many Singaporeans, National Day isn’t complete without fireworks lighting up the skyline.
The good news? You don’t necessarily need a parade ticket to enjoy them.
Here are some of our favourite viewing spots 🎆:
- Stadium Riverside Walk: One of the closest public viewing locations to the National Stadium, with largely unobstructed views across Kallang Basin.
- Kallang Lawn Bowl: Bring a picnic mat and settle in early. The newly opened lawn offers spacious views while keeping you close to the National Day atmosphere around the Sports Hub.
- Tanjong Rhu Promenade: A quieter waterfront alternative with beautiful reflections of the fireworks across Marina Bay.
- Kallang Basin Lookout: An elevated vantage point ideal for panoramic photos of both the skyline and fireworks.
- Marina Barrage: Still one of the city’s most popular National Day traditions. Come early for sunset, stay for the fireworks, and enjoy a picnic with friends and family.
- Bay East Garden: Prefer smaller crowds? The Bay East Garden offers sweeping waterfront views in a more relaxed setting.
- Marina Bay Promontory, Helix Bridge, and the Esplanade Waterfront: Classic viewing spots, if you don’t mind arriving early to soak up the festive atmosphere.
Exact timings for this year’s show will be announced closer to National Day. And if you can’t make it on 9 August, keep an eye out for fireworks during the NDP rehearsals and previews – they’re just as spectacular, and a lot less crowded.

Spend National Day exploring Singapore's cultural icons
If you’re looking for a slower pace, several of Singapore’s cultural institutions are joining in this year’s NDP celebrations.
- 🖼️ National Museum of Singapore: Admission is free on National Day, making it the perfect excuse to revisit Singapore’s oldest museum. This year’s special installation celebrates nostalgic local games like chapteh and five stones, through immersive illuminated displays. The museum will also host an outdoor screening of the National Day Parade in the evening.
- 🏡 Gardens by the Bay National Day Concert: Round off the celebrations with an evening at The Meadow. The annual National Day Concert returns with free performances, carnival activities, family-friendly games and giveaways before ending the night with fireworks against the Marina Bay skyline.
- 🏛️Istana Open House: National Day is one of the few occasions each year when members of the public can explore the Istana. The Open House returns with cultural performances, family activities, and the chance to walk through the President’s official residence and gardens.
- 🎇 Light Together Bras Basah.Bugis 2026: Held in conjunction with the Singapore Night Festival, Light Together Bras Basah.Bugis 2026 will transform the precinct into an immersive canvas of light installations, interactive artworks, digital experiences that celebrate Singapore’s journey.
