2025-2026 SINGAPORE GLOBAL NETWORK “WORK AND HOLIDAY IN SINGAPORE” CONTEST TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. These Terms and Conditions shall govern the 2025-2026 Singapore Global Network “Work and Holiday in Singapore” Contest (the “Contest”) organised by the Economic Development Board, acting through its Singapore Global Network Division (the “Organiser”).
1A. In these Terms and Conditions, words importing the singular shall include the plural and vice versa where the context requires
Eligibility
2. The following persons are disqualified (each a “Disqualified Person”) from participating in the Contest:
a) any person who is or was involved in the organisation of any part of the Contest;
b) any current employee of the Organiser or any of its affiliated partners, agencies, or contractors involved in the development or administration of the Contest; and
c) any immediate family member of a person referred to in Clauses 2(a) and 2(b). For the purposes of this Clause, “immediate family member” means a child, stepchild, grandchild, parent, stepparent, grandparent, spouse, sibling, parent-in-law, children-in-law, sibling-in-law, and includes adoptive relationships.
3. To be eligible for the Contest, the participant (the “Participant”) must:
a) not be a Disqualified Person (as defined in Clause 2);
b) be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry;
c) hold a valid passport at the time of prize acceptance if international travel is required;
d) for the Grand Prize and Runner-up Prize, the Participant must possess a passport valid for at least six (6) months from the scheduled travel return date.
e) agree to these Terms and Conditions and any additional terms imposed by the Organiser and Sponsor;
f) agree for both the Participant and his/her submissions to be included in the Contest marketing campaign or post-contest publicity materials; and
g) consent to provide personal information of the Participant to the Organiser and for the Organiser to store, process, use and disclose such personal information for the administration and fulfilment of the contest for a period from 30 September 2025 to 30 June 2026, including the sharing of such information with any third-party partners or sponsors where applicable.
Rules
4. To enter the Contest, the Participant shall:
a) Submit the form hosted on the campaign website (https://singaporeglobalnetwork.gov.sg/work-holiday-sg/).
b) Must apply and hold a Work Holiday Pass by 31 March 2026, a programme which allows eligible students and young graduates to work and holiday in Singapore for six months
5. Entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM Singapore Time (SGT) on 31 March 2026 to be eligible.
6. A Participant may not submit multiple entries. Multiple entries from the same Participant will count as 1 entry.
7. Entries that are incomplete, automated, false, deceptive, contain offensive or inappropriate content, plagiarised materials will be disqualified. The Organiser shall have the sole and absolute discretion to determine eligibility and compliance with the Contest rules.
8. By submitting an entry, the Participant agrees that his/her content may be publicly viewed, shared, or used by the Organiser for promotional purposes related to the contest. The Organiser shall not be required to return or acknowledge any entries. By submitting an entry, the Participant further agrees to abide by the decisions of the Organiser and to accept all decisions of the Organiser in all matters relating to the Contest as final.
9. Two winning entries will be picked at random.
Prize Guidelines
10. The Participant submitting the winning entry (the “Winner”) may receive his/her allocated prize (the “Allocated Prize”), which shall be described in a separate prize annex or accompanying promotional material.
11. The Allocated Prize is non-transferrable and not exchangeable for cash, credit, or any other goods or services.
12. The Allocated Prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by the Organiser and/or any third-party service provider. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute the Allocated Prize with any alternative prize without prior notice and for any reason.
13. The Organiser shall notify the Winner, by way of email, no later than 24 April 2026, and the Winner agrees to the following:
a) provide the Organiser with any necessary personal details of the Winner to claim the Allocated Prize. In this regard, the Organiser reserves the right to require the Winner to produce proof of identity, passport and/or address;
b) complete and return, within three (3) days of receipt, a prize acceptance form, including an affidavit of eligibility, a liability/publicity release (where permitted), and any required tax documentation; and
c) for both the Winner and his/her submission(s) to be included in the Contest marketing campaign or post-Contest publicity materials; and
d) complete and show proof of successfully applying for the Work Holiday Pass within 2 months of accepting the Grand Prize or the Runners-up Prize. The Organiser bears no responsibility or involvement in relation to the application and issuance of the Work Holiday Pass.
It is the Participant’s responsibility to ensure that the electronic mail address provided by the Participant when registering for the Contest is a valid address. The Participant accepts that the Organiser’s responsibility for notifying the Winner of his/her Prize shall be discharged upon the Organiser sending of an electronic mail to the electronic mail address provided by the Winner when registering for the Event.
14. In the event that the Winner does not respond to the Organiser’s notification within seven (7) days, is unable to provide the required documentation to the Organiser’s satisfaction, or does not agree to Clauses 13(a), 13(b), 13(c) or 13(d), the Winner shall forfeit the Allocated Prize and shall have no claim against the Organiser. The Organiser is not obliged under such circumstances to offer any such unclaimed Allocated Prize to any other Participant.
15. In the event the Winner breaches any of these Terms and Conditions and is disqualified from the Contest, the Organiser reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to forfeit and dispose of the Allocated Prizes or award the Allocated Prizes to another person. The disqualified Winner shall have no claim to the Allocated Prizes.
16. The Organiser (including its employees, officers, agents and assigns) shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage relating to or arising from the Contest or the Allocated Prize, regardless of the cause and reason.
17. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and the Participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
ANNEX: PRIZE SPECIFICATIONS
(a) Grand Prize – Round-Trip Flight to Singapore and 3 months’ sponsored stay at Casa Mia Coliving (1 Winner Maximum)
i. The Grand Prize consists of one (1) round-trip flight ticket to Singapore, up to a maximum value of SGD 6,000 (excluding GST) and 3 months’ sponsored stay at Casa Mia Coliving, valued at up to SGD 5,600 (including GST).
ii. The flights must be booked through the Organiser by 30 June 2026. Travel may take place after this date.
iii. The winner is not allowed to combine redemption of miles from his/her personal frequent flyer programme account towards any part of this prize or top up the ticket value using cash.
iv. The total value of the prize will be determined based on prevailing rates on the airline’s official direct booking website at the time of booking.
v. Flights will be booked under the name of the Winner. Flights must originate from the nearest major airport to the Winner’s place of residence.
vi. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and any unused value will be forfeited.
vii. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any changes, delays, or issues arising after the tickets have been booked and confirmed. All further travel arrangements shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner.
(b) Runners-up Prize – 3 months’ paid stay at Casa Mia Coliving (1 Winner Maximum)
i. The Runners-up Prize consists of one (1) three (3) months’ sponsored stay at Casa Mia Coliving, valued at up to SGD 5,600 (excluding GST).
ii. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and any unused value will be forfeited.
iii. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any changes, delays, or issues arising after the stay has been booked and confirmed. All further travel arrangements shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner.
iv. Winner must confirm their arrival details with the Sponsor at least one month (30 days) before their intended arrival date to claim the prize.
v. Winners must have applied for the Work Holiday Pass and had their visa approved before they can claim the prize.
vi. Prizes must be claimed and the stay commenced before 31 December 2026; all unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.
