As with all new set-ups, the initial journey is never an easy one. We, the Singapore Global Network (SGN), are very fortunate to have you in our journey as we turn two years old this month!

Looking back, we are glad that we made a difference (no matter how big or small it had been) to your life through our efforts to build a global family with Singapore at its heart! We’re glad you could join us at some of our recent initiatives, and we hope to extend our efforts to more people who are interested in building connections around the world.


We would like to invite SGN members in Hong Kong SAR and Australia to celebrate this joyous occasion with us by inviting your friends, family members or anyone you can think of to join our network, through this sign-up link here. The campaign will end on 20 June 2021, 2359hrs (SG time).

1.         Who can participate in this campaign?

Individual must fulfil all of the following criteria to participate in this campaign:
(a) Received an email invite from SGN to participate from the SGN on 1 June 2021; and,
(b) Indicated his/her overseas country/city of residence as Hong Kong SAR or Australia as per SGN’s existing records;

2.         Can I request or get other members to participate in this campaign?

The current campaign is by invite only. We will be rolling this campaign to other members in due course. We thank all members for their interest!

3.         Who can I refer to join the Singapore Global Network for this campaign?

For this campaign, we welcome all of your friends, family members or anyone who currently resides outside of Singapore to join the Singapore Global Network.

4.         Is there a limit on the number of individuals I can refer?

No, you may refer as many friends, family members or anyone who currently reside outside of Singapore to join the network.

5.         Do I need to ensure that individuals I referred are not existing members of the network?

We encourage all members to help us refer new members to join our network so that we can extend our programmes to more people. However, if you are unsure of their status, you may still proceed to refer them.

6.         What must I do to participate in the campaign?

Please send this link https://events.singaporeglobalnetwork.gov.sg/welcometosgn to anyone you wish to refer! When they submit their details, remind them to indicate your Full Name and Email Address so that we know they are your referrals, and to do so before 20 June 2021, 2359 hrs (SG time). No extension will be entertained.

7.        How do I qualify to receive the supermarket/beverage vouchers?

At least two of your referrals must have signed up with us, as per question 6, and indicated your full name and Email address along with their submission.

Please ask them to only indicate the same email address that you have received the email invite at.

We will tabulate the results after 20 June 2021 and notify members who qualify for the vouchers by 30 June 2021 via email. All members who have not received any notification from SGN by 30 June 2021 can deem their participation to be unsuccessful.

8.        What are the supermarket/beverage vouchers that I can stand to receive?

All eligible members, as defined in question 7, will receive either AUD$10 Coles Supermarket e-vouchers or HKD$50 Starbucks beverage e-cards.

To thank members who have helped to refer many individuals to SGN, the top ten eligible members who have the highest number of referrals will receive either AUD$100 Coles Supermarket e-vouchers or HKD$500 Starbucks beverage e-cards instead.

Do take note that the type of supermarket/beverage vouchers will be based on members’ indicated country/city of residence with SGN.

We are unable to accede to requests for specific or alternative vouchers.

9.        How will I receive the supermarket/beverage vouchers?

All eligible members, as defined in question 7, will receive either AUD$10 Coles Supermarket e-vouchers or HKD$50 Starbucks beverage e-cards.

The e-vouchers /e-cards will only be sent via the email you have received the invite and by 15 July 2021. We will not be able to send the e-vouchers/e-cards via other mode.

We reserve the right to substitute the supermarket/beverage vouchers with any alternative without prior notice.

10.        How can I check on the status of my participation?

We expect overwhelming responses and will not be responding to queries regarding status of participation.

Do also take note that SGN reserves the right to disqualify members from the participation at any time at our sole discretion and without the need to name any reasons.

We will tabulate the results after 20 June 2021 and notify members who qualify for the vouchers by 30 June 2021 via email. All members who have not received any notification from SGN by 30 June 2021 can deem their participation to be unsuccessful.

11.        What else should I note for my participation?

As part of your participation, you must agree to the following:

  • SGN accepts no responsibility for any submission that is incomplete, unreadable, ineligible, corrupted, misdirected, lost or delayed, or is unable to be sent or published due to technical or transmission failures of any kind or any other reason;
  • SGN may contact you for marketing purposes;
  • SGN reserves the right to cancel/ terminate the Campaign for reasons beyond its control;
  • As part of the campaign, personal information will be collected, processed and used in accordance with SGN’s Privacy Statement; and
  • SGN may contact you or your referrals for additional information or communications deemed necessary.
